I realised some time ago that it's easier to list my favourite music by genre rather than actual bands. This is partly because, apart from a few core members, my list of favourite bands changes on a nearly weekly basis. And with a music library of nearly 400 artists and over 700 albums, I feel it's probably rather unfair to pin-point a special few out of all of these.

Hmm... that meandering jaunt to nowhere should probably have gone in a post rather than my bio, but never mind. It's a reasonably good introduction to me. I listen to a lot of music, I fill in internet profiles, and I over-think things. Hi, wanna be friends?

My name's Nadia.

I'm hopefully just about to graduate from Royal Holloway, University of London, in Classical Studies (Ancient Greece and Rome, basically - language, literature, social and economic history, religion, philosophy, archaeology...), though I'm still massively behind on work for my dissertation, so watch this space. I'm also an aspiring fantasy writer. I've written one complete book so far, but it needs a vast re-write which I've just begun, having put the manuscript away for a year. I'm also working on another one. Both are fairly standard sword and sorcery, high fantasy - elves, magic, dragons etc. - which is unsurprising, considering that's what I spend swathes of my life reading. You could probably tell that from the 'books' section of my interests, so I'm actually just repeating myself now...
